Membership

The bid is largely financed by the sale of Pre-Supporting and Friend (or Young Person Friend) memberships, and you can buy a membership via this website. Note that this is membership of the bid, not of the convention, and does not entitle you to attend the convention except as noted below.
 
As well as showing their support for the bid, Pre-Supporters will receive a discount on their convention membership of half the amount paid for the Pre-Support, and Friends will receive the full value of their membership as a discount. Friends who also vote in the 2014 site selection at the 2012 Worldcon will automatically become attending members of the convention.
